How to wear a leopard print dress
Leopard print is the trend of the season. You can see the print on clothes, shoes, bags and all kind of accessories! But animal print, in general, is also a staple that has always been in the most fashionable closets and it is versatile. You can style it in the most classic ways or be creative and try new combinations.
Leopard print dresses are my favourite. There are so many options and styles to choose from, but the offer for plus size fashion is, unfortunately, more limited. However, Asos has some great plus size leopard print dresses in its Curve range.
When I saw on their website this leopard print dress size 20, I’ve known I had to buy it! This flowy dress has a lovely fit, it is oversized and stylish, and as soon as I saw it, I had so many ideas on how to wear a leopard print dress.
Four ways to style your leopard print dress
As I was writing above, animal print is versatile. A classic leopard print outfit is, for example, a black leather jacket matched with a white shirt and a leopard print skirt. But there are also other combinations that can be made. In this post, I will show you four ways to create a leopard print outfit.
Leopard print and camel
Leopard print and camel is a classic combination. It always works! I love this dress because it almost seems like a skirt and a shirt if combined with a blazer like below!
I have chosen to add a pair of cream suede ankle boots and my favourite small bag in black.
The necklace is from Zahlia Fashion, and it matches the autumn leaves in the background!
Leopard print and burnt orange (fur jacket)
As you all know I love colours! I decided to add a pop of burnt orange to this outfit adding my Marks and Spencer fur jacket that matched all the accessories very well!
You can also add a rust coat and other similar shades. I am also wearing a belt in this look. Using belts is an easy way to transform a dress. Better if you have a jewellery belt!
Leopard print and dark green
When the temperature drops, you can still use your dresses. Just add a jumper on them! It can be an oversized sweater or a regular fit one. In this case, I layered a dark green jumper with embellishments on my leopard print maxi dress!
Leopard print, burnt orange and dark green
“More is more”, that’s my motto! To make the outfit more interesting, you can add a colour block effect to the leopard print! In this case, green and orange worked well together. I also added a belt on the jumper, to give another stylish touch!
As you can see, you can use your leopard print dress in so many ways that it is worth investing in one! Just changing a jacket or adding a jumper, you will have various looks.
