The Star Print Trend
How to create a stylish look on a budget: The Star Print
The Star Print has been around for a couple of seasons, and it is one of my favourite trends. It started with Saint Laurent, and it is now available on the high street brands, too.
The collaboration of Kate Moss with Equipment also gave a significant push to the trend. Furthermore, the stars were around the collections for autumn – winter 2016 -17 in brands such as Valentino and Alexander Macqueen.
The rock print has been given a more modern twist, and it can be adapted to other styles, too.
The Star print is also a very cool motif. You can choose to wear it on the accessories, such as a skinny scarf (you can find a cute one on sale at Topshop!) or a nice small bag, such as the round one you can find in the Mango collection (also on sale now!).
The Star print is also very cute on a sweater or shirt, and I love it on the trainers, too!
Where to find the star print trend if you are plus size
The Plus size brands have also adopted the trend. Last month, in fact, I bought a lovely velvet star shift dress from the Pink Clove website.
The dress is very flattering, and the velvet is so soft! I also like it because It has long sleeves that I prefer in winter.
I wore this dress on New Year’s Eve in London matching it with a pair of ankle boots and black tights.
